Yu/Yosuke/Naoto - September 2014 - Study Party

College was going just about as well as Naoto expected, however, after dumping Medicine and biology quickly for a much more comfortable sociology and criminal justice, she was at least less inclined to hide in her apartment and ignore the world.

This day, however, she was going to Yu and Yosuke's for a probably late-night study session over an annoying math course. Shifting her bag to another shoulder, she stood outside, and rang the buzzer for their apartment.

"If you're allergic to garbage, then why are you living with someone you found in a trash can?"

Naoto's tone is utterly deadpan. Mostly.

"....."

Yosuke makes a spectacular face that looks like he wants to find a table to flip. "You're both fired."

He plops himself down on the couch and grabs the remote, stuffing it in his pants pocket. "Now nobody gets tv!"

"You just want someone to go after it, don't you?" Yu sits on the couch with Yosuke, poking him hard in the side.

"Not to mention, Yosuke, there are buttons on the television."

She finishes rinsing the dishes and walks over to the couch. "Besides, if I'm fired, I guess I should be going home then. I will see you both tomorrow..."

There's a smirk on her face, however.

"Noooo," He says and grabs her hand. "Forgive me, stay!"

Pouting Yosuke is pouting.

Yu takes ahold of her other hand, offering her a smile in contrast to the pout "Yes, please, stay."

She looks from one of them to the other, blushing furiously. "If you are both certain, I will stay." She reclaims her hands, hugging Yosuke tightly, and kissing Yu on the cheek.

"Heck," Yosuke says, giving her a hug back, "You could stay forever and we'd be happy." It sounds pretty nice.

It does sound pretty nice. More than nice, it sounds great.

"Please do."

"Are you both seriously asking me to move in?" She blinks at them. "Well, there are some practical considerations, such as my lease, but..."

She looks at them and blushes. "If I do, you two had better learn how to keep the living room clean."

[magiciansluck]

"Oops, better call it off, then," Yosuke jokes, then holds his hands up. "Joking, joking. We can totally do that."

Yu elbows Yosuke in the side for that little joke. "Yes ma'am."

She rolls her eyes at them both. "Why do I put up with you both?"

Sighing, she curls up on the couch, thoughtfully smiling. "Well, perhaps I'll have to look into moving, at least when my lease is up." A pause. "Or, really, you two could move into my apartment. The building is better, and I do have two spare bedrooms. I was using one as an office, but I can move my things."

"Wouldn't you guys share a room? Since you're dating and all..."

Yosuke thinks it's sensible. He's also kind of a lot jealous, but he has no idea why.

"Moving into your apartment does sound more sensible. It's larger, after all."

He's not going to push the room thing. Whatever Naoto wants goes.

"Larger, better area, better building." She nods. "And a much better kitchen."

She blushes a bit. "I... well, I did not know how you both would want sleeping quarters. I would not mind sharing a room with Yu, but as I said, I can move my office things into my room, if you both want your own room."

"No, I do not mind either," Yu says. "I would be honoured to share a room with you."

She blushes, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek again. "Alright, then."

Leaning back, she smiles. "So, did you two ever decide what we are going to watch, or did you just decide to play games with the remote?"

[magiciansluck]

Yosuke pulls the remote out of his pocket and holds it out. "Uh, no, you can put something on."

He's feeling subdued all of a sudden, he's got that spark of jealousy again. He's almost used to it, it comes and goes at seemingly random moments, and he refuses to try to place why. If he did, he might come to some answers he really doesn't like.

Yu takes the remote and gives Yosuke an odd look, his partner suddenly looks not that happy. "You alright?"

Naoto shoots Yosuke a concerned look. "Was it something I said, Yosuke? I did not mean to upset you, I was simply teasing."

[magiciansluck]

"No, no!" Yosuke shakes his head, holding his hands up defensively. "I'm fine, I promise."

He figured he'd be called on these moments eventually, but he never came up with an excuse for them.

"You only say you're fine when you're not."

It's a subtle thing that you have to know him well enough to notice, but if he actually is okay, he uses other words.

"Have you forgotten that I question people on a weekly basis, Yosuke? You are not fine. There is something bothering you. Granted you do not have to tell us, but we do care about you."

Her face is concerned, and she reaches over, putting a hand on his arm.

[magiciansluck]

"Bleh," Yosuke says.

Even if Naoto will not keep persisting, Yu will do so when she's gone. A lot. The guy was good at getting his way, so it was going to come out eventually. Why not get it over with?

"I'm jealous and it's stupid and I'm stupid."
