Yeah, we're done and someone else might want this table.

[Drinks are finished, croissant's finished, and they paid earlier, so Keith grabs his bag from the floor.]

[Matt grabs his bag as well, standing up and stretching.]

Alright, lead the way. I have no idea where I'm going.

[So Keith leads the way to the Altean palace, towards the guest quarters extension. Because Keith is a student at the school here and his parents are well-known Blades and have connections to Zarkon, their setup is pretty nice.]

[Matt smiles a bit. In theory his parents have something here somewhere, but it's been a long time since he's been there. Maybe he should figure out where it is to spend time with Keith sometime.

For now, he just smiles thoughtfully, walking close and trying not to be as over-excited as he feels.]

[They're at the Koganes' quarters soon, Keith letting himself in...and Kosmo teleport-pouncing him barely a second later.]

Woah! Look, I missed you too, but we've got a guest for a few minutes, okay? Mind your manners!

[Matt can't help but laugh at the wolf's enthusiasm, grinning, and holding out a hand for him to snuffle at.]

Hey, Kosmo. I'm Matt.

[Kosmo sniffs curiously at Matt's hand...and then immediately pounces and starts licking his face. Keith can't help laughing.]

He decides who he likes and doesn't like pretty fast, and he adores you!

Ack!

[Matt staggers a bit, but keeps his footing, giving Kosmo a hug as he laughs more.]

Well, I'm glad you like me, because I'm hoping to be around for a while. Good to meet you, mister big and slobbery.

There's a towel on the counter when he's done giving your face a bath.

[Keith lets them get to know each other while he starts setting out Kosmo's dinner, along with fresh water.

[Matt's finally able to pull himself back from Kosmo then towel off his face firmly.]

I like him already. He's adorable and really friendly!

Good. I had a feeling you'd get along, but I'm glad to see it for myself. You'll have to visit us often!

[Kosmo licks Keith's hands, barking happily before he rushes towards his food bowl. There's quite a bit, since big wolfie is big and can eat a lot.]

I'd like that. Looks like you have a pretty nice view, too!

[Matt smiles, just watching Kosmo eat for a moment.]

Hopefully I'll get to visit a lot.

I hope so, too.

[Keith smiles, setting a few doggie treats on the table for Kosmo's dessert, then empties his bag save for what he needs (communicator, wallet, etc).]

[Matt scritches Kosmo behind the ears one more time, and then turns to go with Keith.]

You know the moment you say that, he'll find a way to create havoc. It must be canine law or something.

[Keith laughs as he gives Kosmo one more pet, and then he and Matt are heading off.]

Yeah, I know I'll come home to find a mess in the den or my room. I'm used to it.

Hey, as long as everyone knows it'll happen.

[Matt laughs, leading Keith out of the palace complex, and to a bus, where he pays for both of them, and finds a seat.]

It's not too far, we just have to take this bus a few stops. Better than walking, though. Especially after a long day.

Hey, I don't mind taking a bus. It doesn't look very crowded, too, that's a plus.

[He sits down beside Matt, leaning against his shoulder.]

Yeah. I really hate when there's a million people on the bus. It just feels so squishy.

[Without even thinking, Matt slips an arm around him, pulling him close.]

Although, I don't really mind squishing if it's you.

[Keith laughs and blushes a little.]

Yeah, even if the bus were totally empty I'd squish with you. You're...really comfy.

[Now it's Matt's turn to blush, and he reaches up and just gently runs his fingers through Keith's hair behind his ears.]

I'm glad you think so. Usually I'm all elbows and points.

[Oh...behind his ears is a "sweet spot" for Keith. He begins to purr, nestling closer.]

It's not so bad. Besides, I'm pretty skinny compared to most Galra, too.

I don't mind. I think you're really attractive, skinny or not.

[He realizes quickly that Keith's purring is really nice, and he keeps up his petting.

Before long, however, the bus is on it's third stop, and Matt pulls back.]

This is our stop.

[He leads Keith off of the bus and down a couple streets to a medium-sized house. It's nicely kept-up, with a large garden behind it.]

And here's my house!

[Keith blushes more at the compliment, he's feeling more and more comfortable with Matt every second and even more sure that this is what Shiro feels for Adam, what his parents feel for each other.

And then he sees the house, and is instantly impressed. He likes the lavish quarters his family stays in, but these more modest houses with their gardens and everything...they always look so cozy.]

Most Olkari like cities, but Mom's always loved her plants. It's a big reason why we live here and not some big building.

[He smiles a bit sheepishly, and puts his hand on the palm pad by the door, which unlocks it, and he lets Keith in. Inside is a fairly typical medium-sized house. Keith's quarters at the palace are probably bigger, but it's cozy.]

Kitchen's over there, bedrooms upstairs, and over here's where the TV and movies are.

It's nice. I mean...it looks really comfortable here.

[He takes his shoes off and sets his bag down on the end of the couch.]
